I bought a 2001 Sun Tracker Party Deck boat about two weeks ago. My brother gave me a Minn Kota Maxxum 65lb thrust trolling motor (bow mount). We will be using it for some slow trolling and positioning. Will this be adequate enough to use on my boat? I have heard that this may not be strong enough. If you know anything that may help, please let me know.
