Hi there,
I am interested in some kind of trolling motor(s) that can be used on my 2004 open bow glastron. We use this boat for various activities and not just fishing so I am trying to stay away from a bow mount. I was looking at the Minn kota trim and troll and like the idea (not the price so much) but am concerned that my transom hieght might not allow it. It is borderline on the spec sheet and then has a curve up to the swim platform. Can the brackets be mounted on to this curved area or does it need to be on the same plane as the tabs?
Any help or ideas would be appreciated and thanks for providing this forum

They are both 1/2 the price of the trim and troll unit.
You can always add some smart tabs as well and still save tons of $$$$$

I have thought of possibly an engine mount but sure did like the idea of the controls from the front of the boat while fishing. something to think about....
