I have a 15hp Seaking from Montgomery Wards and when I ran it in a barrel it appeared to run fine,, But as soon as I put it on my boat and in the water and gave it gas, it would Kill and I had a hard time getting it started again,, But once I left it for awhile it would start and then do the same thing again, Any suggestions on what might be wrong? Thx.

It would help if you give a model number. Sea Kings were made by several companies, mainly Gale and Chrysler. For one thing, it sounds like you have a dirty carburetor. You could also have bad ignition coils, especially likely if it is a Gale.
