Removing 90 HP Yamaha Head

My 90TLRS head bolts are all removed, and I would like to get it off without doing any damage. I tried tapping with a soft mallet, but it will not break free that way. Is it OK to pry it apart with a screwdriver?

Try using a wood block and tap on the edge.
