Default Oil Mixture for 8HP Mariner Outboard
I purchased a 8 HP mariner outboard from a old guy and I am trying to figure out the oil mixture and the year of the motor. The serial number is 6G1 S 015680. Thanks for your help!

I would suspect the mixture should be 50-1, which is pretty common unless it is real old, then probably 40-1.
