Hey guys....a friend of mine brought over this cute little 3.3 hp motor to see if we could get it started. I mixed up a fresh batch of 50:1 and put it in the tank and it started right up....BUT.....there is a steady drip coming from the carb and it wouldn't stay started (ran pretty darn rough too) My question is, obviously the leak is an issue, but would that nessisarily make it run rough and quit. Is 50:1 the right ratio for a newer (2003) 1 cylinder motor?? Thanks for any info.-----ANDREW

Yes, it's a 50 to 1 engine the inlet valve is leaking and ther carb needs cleaning.
