I have a 1998 90 hp and it is running like s&*t, to say the least. It starts fine and idles fine in nuetral if even revs up fine, but as soon as I go to get on plane the motor just bogs down and it takes forever to get up on plane. I have a 16ft Action Craft and I am use to the boat just jumping on plane in a second or two, but now if there are two people in the boat we have to sit on the bow for her to plane off. Once on plane it seems to run great, well as good as I can expect. Does anyone have any suggestions to this problem?

Check timing and/or clean out carbs.
