Hard starting after sitting a year, but finally got it started and it wouldn't idle. Advancing the throttle it would run but die at idle. Carbs look good but do not know overhaul or cleaning history. I have not checked carb bowls for dirt or water but will. What is the lean-rich adjustment on this engine? I checked all carbs and they were at about 10-11 turns out. Seems like a lot when most smaller engines are 1.5-2 turns out. I know get a manual, but the boat is parked out front and I don'e have a manual. Thx

the man who works on an outboard without manual, has fool for customer. your carbs had gas in them for a year, time to clean install rebuild kits, and do a link n sinc. seeing you have mess with stuff that did not need it.
