HELP!!
I have a Yamaha Pro-V 200 hp 1991. It is blowing, spraying fuel back toward the carbs. iT RUNS OK BUT HAS LOST ITS PUNCH OVER THE YEARS. Its on a hydrostream voyager and currently runs at about 76mph and turns at 5800 5900 rpm. It used to run 78-79 mph and turn exactly 6000 rpm, like it should. Im told it needs new reeds. Fine. The question is, is it common that the boyesen reeds will cause it to run too rich and require a carburator (3) rejetting also? Or using the normal yamaha reeds will not require a rejet?
Dont know what to do. Waiting to decide so I can get back out on Leech Lake minnesota.
