I have '02 Mercury 40 EFI 4-stroke that will run fine for a couple of minutes then start to losing RPMs until I pump it back up with the bulb. Is this a fuel pump problem?
Also, the specs on the 40/50/60 motors are all the same, what is the difference in the 40 & 60?

Just be advised he said fuel problem, which may or may not be the fuel pump. It could be any number of items including dip tube, fuel line, or even gummed up carbs.

as there are many different parts as gpagolf said, i think j martin is correct if it runs fine once you pump the bulb
