mc overheating

I had my first day at the sea after the winter season.
And some problems with overheating engine mercruiser 4,3 efi with bravo3, seawater cooled. Temperature went up to approx 200 and after 10 min short trip.

What I could find out when checking the engine when running:
Seawater pump seemed to be operating while enormous pressure was set on hose coming from seawater pump to the termostat housing. The hose coming from the termostate housing to engine water circulating pump was almost cooking. The 2 remaining outgoing hoses from termostate housing to the exhaust manifold where both cold!. It seemed to mee that cold water was coming in but no out. Could the failure be in the engine water circulating pump?
If yes I'm a bit surprised because this part was switched last summer. Any other reason? Is there any quick checks to localize the problem?
Grateful for any feedback!

Re: mc overheating

What year is it? When was the last time the impeller in the pump was replaced. On those pumps, the impeller should be replaced every other year.
