It RUNS !!!
And it sounds freaking fantastic !!!
After getting diagnosed from 2 different marine techs that one told me that I needed both powerpacks changed ( which produced nothing but a hole in my wallet), and another told me I needed a new timer base ( same results), and even been told to trash the engine and repower...persaverance has prevailed.
I had a weak battery.
I had corroded contacts.
I had a bad magnet on the flywheel.
I did it myself, after putting out more than 600 bucks on bad advice.
The best advice, and the proper fix, was found right here on this forum, and all it cost me was some time and an open mind.
I shall forever be gratefull for all the help, knowledge, and support that I have learned from this community, and I shall never leave it.
