I have a 3.0 liter OMC and when the boat is running water comes running out a hole, up under the right hand side on the engine. The hole is in the center of the water jacket near the block(center of the engine).... kind of right under where the OMC symbol is on the engine. It's very tucked up under and hard to get at. It faces straight down and I can't tell if it's threaded or not? I used a mirror to find where the water was coming from after I got it back home. Any thoughts on what would have come out of that hole? It happened over the winter and I thought it was a frost plug that pushed out... but I picked up a (2 piece) frost plug but it doesn't seem to fit in the hole? Thoughts.....?
