Bottom Painting

I have searched several websites and have read much regarding painting the bottom of my boat which has left me more confused.

The bottom of my fiberglass boat looks like it could use painting. It also has some gouges (boat does not take on water). Could someone please tell me the steps to repainting this? Including what primer and paint type to use? This is a trailered boat. Do I need "anti-fowling" paint?

My brain hurts!

Re: Bottom Painting

Read some of the posts in the Boat restoration Forum.
If it stays on the trailer no anti foul paint is needed.
Interlux makes some very good paints. The biggest thing is the prep work and glassing in the gouges. Some use Marine-Tex repair for those type holes.
