Only info I have is it was off of a 70hp rude. Look like something that would work on a 1974 model? I doubt it but I got to ask....Thanks

looks to be the same type i have on my 1981 motor. I think there was a design change early to mid 70's on those units.
Dhadley or Ezeke would know...

The design change was in '78. I'm doubting it would work on your '74.
