1979 Mark Twain. Lenght ???

I just bought a 79 Mark Twain. I measure it to be just over 17ft. It's model # is 180v i/o BR if that helps. The hin is mtm11042m79e. Am I missing the mearsurement? Is it an 18 footer??? Can you help me out???

Ah, another Mark Twain boat owner. I've go a '63 Mark Twain and cannot for the life of me get much info on my boat. The boat id thingy fell right off the first time I tried looking at it. And even that didn't help me much either. It almost looks like someone was intentionally trying to scrape the info from it. I Measured it at 16' 7" and it has a 75 hp Johnson outboard on it. Any ideas on where I can get any help on this?? :(

Here is the only place I know of. I guess since they quit making them in 1990 nobody knows anything.
