I went to hook the battery up this year and I crossed the wires on accident. After I hooked them up properly I have problems. It blew the fuse at the front of the motor 20amp. If I replace the fuse and hit the ignition to start the fuse will just pop and burn out. I don't know what I did any help would be priceless. The motor is only a few years old I need to get it fixed ASAP. Thanks everyone

I do not know where the post is exactly but someone else had this same issue with another merc model. they replaced the part.

Look through the forum, it was in the first few pages when I went through the forum a couple of days ago.
