merc 200 2.5 holeshot motora bogges

when WOT out of the hole motor booges but if im running and hit the gas its fine not sure what to check it runs better if air mix screw is at 3/4 of a turn but still like is getting to much gas any comments would help races this weekend and not looking good thx Barret

Adjust idle mixture screws to best idle IN gear while in the water.

Hit WOT to test, any bog or hesitation then fatten all idle mixture screws just a blade width of a turn out then try hitting WOT from a dead idle again.

Repeat until all hesitation is gone.
