choke out

hey all. how long should u run an outboard with teh choke out before you put it in and let in run normal. also should it be reved or just left idol with it out. thanks

Leave it out as long as it needs. Once it can run without choke, push it in. Let it warm up at idle.

As far as that goes...It shouldn't really need any choke after it fires. What outboard are you asking about?
