Would anyone happen to know what the stock camshaft specs are for a 1998 Mercruiser 4.3L (GM vortec)?

Mercruiser does NOT publish that information. Never has, and never will.

Look at an aftermarket cam catalog for 4.3 GMC/Chev trucks. The cam isn't identical, but close. You might then compare that with an RV/Towing cam for the same vehicle.

stock mercruiser marine hydraulic roller cam for 350 is duration @.050: 197 intake / 207 exhaust with 109 degree lobe separation, lift: .430 intake, .450 exhaust... Presumably the 4.3 vortec hydraulic roller cam isn't too far off from that...
