Rodbolt, This One's For You. You Saved Me A Year Ago! This Time I'm Hearing A Faint Beeping Every Once In A While When I'm Running. Is This An Actual Alarm Or What. I Would Think An Engine Alarm Would Be A Lot Louder, But I Really Don't Know. It's Running Great, But I Don't Want To Risk Damage. IT'S A 2002. Thanks, Brett

Re: Yamaha 225 Ox66

dont know, could also be a fish finder or other electronics, usually the horn tone doesnt change unless corroded conections are involved. if it was low engine oil tank level or overheat the engine will go into RPM reduction and if above 2500 RPM will reduce engine speed.
loose battery cables or corroded connections can trigger a low voltage alarm, if you have the fuel management mete and not using the water detect function insure the red white wire end near the flow sensor is dry. salt water on the wire can toggle an alarm.
