i have an old johnson super seahorse laying around and dont know if i should restore it or not. i have no idea of the year or hp rating, any help would be appreciated model# v4sl-15s serial# 2351793 thanks

It's a 1963 75hp. Electric start, Manual shift, right? They were great motors in their day, but outdated now. Condition is everything. Restoration is OK as a labor of love and preservation. Don't expect to make a big profit off it though. Warning: restoring old outboards can be addicting.
