I asked a question the other day about if a lower unit I picked up would fit my motor. Someone posted a link to a cross refrence list for checking parts numbers. The problem I have is the only numbers I could find is the numbers stamped on the upper drive shaft of both units. These numbers don't seem to match anything I could find on the list. Are those numbers any good for identifing the motor they came off of? Those numbers are 335578 and 338556. The second one I know came off my motor a 98 115 Johnson the first number is the one I would like to know what it came off of.
