Can anyone help please. I have a Mercury 7.5 and recently had the impeller replaced. It seems to pump water fine until it heats up, after about 20min it starts to blow steam with the water exhaust and its really hot. Eventually there is no water coming out only steam. Is this still an impeller problem or a water pump, or maybe something else. All help greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a restriction some where, possibly pieces from the old impeller. Did you change it or someone else?

No I had a local boat dealer fix it.
