Re: engine wont start
This could be a series of issues, here is a list to trouble shoot the problem
1. make sure battery is fully charged 12v or higher, 2. make sure a good proper ground is connected and terminals are on tight. 3. check starter relay for power on the ends and is wired correctly. 4. ensure key switch is wired correct. if all is good time to check starter for power. when turning the key is there a click either coming from the starter or starter relay. If starter relay clicks it could be possible bad starter relay, if starter clicks it could be a bad starter, try taping on it with a hammer lightly becuase the starter solenoid may stick. Here is where it gets fun 5. if all power is good and power is getting to starter (all 12v) then it could be that the engine is froze. If the engine is froze then time to bring the tool set and start pulling the engine apart and find whats cuase is to do so. If the motor ran fine then just parked one day for 6 months, I could be the pistone are stuck to the cylinder walls. easy way to find out is take of the heads (dont strip the bolts) and see if the piston rings are rusted or what ever the cuase may be. Hopefully its just electrical.
