Hello all. I have a 1976 115HP Mercury OB inline 6 that has the over-the-transom clamps. The jack plate is the 10" face to face manual adjust type solid two piece (1 front piece and 1 back piece). I question whether the clamp style mounting of the engine mount wil be a problem or not?

as long as there is enough clearance for the clamps, no different than mounting on transom.
it should also have 2 bolt holes on each side for thru bolts. my '66 50 does.

Nokie, You will need to drill holes in that plate to match your motor's thru bolts. If the jackplate is wide enough to accomodate your transom clamp and PTT brackets (if you have them), it should work. I used a HiJacker two piece Jack plate on my '77 Merc 1500. It just fit, however I had the advantage od spacing the pieces whever I needed them.
