changing lower unit oil in 1993 evinrude 225 vindicator
Just bought a 93 evinrude 225, have a question about the lower unit oil. I want to change the oil, but I am not sure how much fluid it takes, I have ordered an oem manual but it has not arrived. I have worked on a few mercurys before and the upper plug seems really high on the lower unit on this engine compared to the mercs. I know this is a noobie question, but somebody has to ask. Thanks for the help in advance. ps what is the recommended fluid.?
