Just bought. Cranks fine, runs fine for 30mins or so, then without warning will not generate enough rpm to plane. Primer bulb seems slack but if you pump it while running engine dies and is hard to restart. Noticed some raw gas coming out of exhaust too. Any thoughts?
Primer bulb will normally be soft when running. It just shouldn't collapse.
If you pump up the primer before start, and then give it a firm grip, not quite white knuckle, does gas leak out of the carbs. Could be they need cleaning and/or needle and seat or float attention.
If it's missing electrically, and you're talking a real strong squeeze on the bulb, the killin' might be normal.
Could also be a leaky diaphragm in the fuel pump.
