i have a '78 evinrude 85hp and the power trim works fine going up but sounds like it is binding against a check valve when going down. it has full fluid. i can manually bring it down. last year it seemed to self heal as soon as i backed it into the water, but i can hardly rely on hoping it works when i get it to the lake. any info out there?
