Hi everyone, I'm having a problem with my motor and any help would very much be appreciated. I have a 1990 tiller control 25 hp Evinrude. Yesterday I had it out on the lake and it stalled while driving. I tried to put it back into neutral and restart but could not. It just seems it can't find neutral. It will shift between forward and reverse but will not stop in the neutral position. I took it home and tinkered around with it and it started working fine. Took it back out on the lake and the same thing happened again. Anybody else ever encountered this problem?
