Minn Kota on-board charger problem ?

Hi folks,
I have MK106 ob charger and once in the while when I plug it in
the green LED blinks for a sec and then all LED go off.
It takes several plug unplug cycles to get it on.
Any idea what that means ?
BTW the battery is only 5 months old and the charger about 7.

Check the plug on the charger and the receptacle on the extension cord. Sounds like and AC power problem, not a charger problem.

Just to update...
Today I connected digital voltmeter to the charger while charging the battery and to my surprise even when the yellow charging light wasn't on the battery was charging.
When it reached 14.4V it switched to green maintenance charge as it should

So I guess there is something wrong with the signaling LED but charger still works fine.
