A complete newbie question here, folks. We have a tube and a 60 ft. 5/8" 16 strand rope and need advice on how to make the connections with the rope on both ends (tube and boat). Is there specifice hardware to use?? The Airhead rope has loops at both ends. Connection to boat will be to a tow ring mounted on the swim platform (I don't need criticism on the location - just the how-to on the connection). All help appreciated since Dad does not want to get on the water with DD's and look like a fool when expected to start pulling them.

If your tow ring looks like this

http://www.iboats.com/Seadog_Transo...07405665--**********.786040498--view_id.39715

Simply hook the loop over the ?finger? then wrap the loop around the finger once to increase contact area, (will prevent the loop from wearing prematurely at a single point)

If your towable has a quick connect like on the end of this

http://www.overtons.com/modperl/pro...ies-Towables-Tubes&aID=3I&merchID=1009&r=view

push the loop through the hole then hook the loop on the two hooks. If it doesn?t have a quick connect then get the above item for the rope to tube connection.
