I have a 1989 15 Hp Johnson outboard with electric start. The motor was set up with remote steering and throttle controls and I am converting it back to tiller controls. Is there suppose to be a starter button on the tiller or does it still need an ignition switch??? Also if it has electric start does it also have an alternator??? The mod # is J15ELCEC and the Ser# is R 08266884
