Default 90hp Evinrude fuel primer solenoid

Hey guys,

I've lurked on here for years finally signed up looking for some help finding a part.

I have a 1986 90HP V4 Evinrude its been a great running engine over the past couple of years just needs some TLC that I have been working on this past week.

I cranked the boat up over the weekend and noticed when I hit the primer switch fuel is leaking out of the primer solenoid around the red handle.

I searched on here and looked at the diagram over at the BRP site. I see I can order the oring for the red handle. I want to know if I order the end cap will it come with the handle and oring already installed? I see reference to a new design that lets you spray tuner/fogging oil into the primer handle but cant find a place selling it.

I love my little Thundercraft I cant find any info about it though best I could come up with it was a east tennessee builder back in the 80's. Eventually I plan on a complete interior resto but for now just getting my OB tuned up.

Thanks for any help locating parts. I could buy the whole primer for $160 but would rather try and replace the parts for a few dollars if I can.

The end cap etc, every individual part of the primer solenoid can be purchased. However the end cap does no come as a assembled unit. You will need to purchase the individual items that make up the end cap unit you're describing.

Simply look up the primer solenoid for a later model, say a 1991 V4 or V6 for instance.
