I'm looking for fold up seats for my cc.

Lots of fold down, but I can't seem to find fold up seats.

Any suggestions.

I've been looking for these a while, haven't found anything.

TD, this is essentially a seat bottom you'd have hinged and attached somewhere handy. It stays out of the way until you need an extra jump seat, then you fold the seat down and sit down.

Obviously the back side or hinges have to be mounted solidly on something capable of holding a person's weight, which is why I think there aren't many around... not much of a market for them as compared to the pedestal types.

I've come to the conclusion that I'll have to make my own for my own particular need.

I had them before on my Grady White; but don't have that boat any longer.

Erik is right by calling them a jump seat.

I saw them on a new Aquasport CC but everyone at Aquasport is clueless to who made the seats for them.

For my Small Cobia, I think they'd be viable for an extra couple seats; if not for cruising, then fishing.

cobia and many others, made them years ago, usually mounted on the front of the splash well stern area with piano hinges. they would drop down out of the way. had an aluminum rod, that held them up to sit on.

Yes: Thats what I'm horribly trying to explain. Know of anyone who's still making them?

I thought this was an April Fool's posting!.

But do a "jump seat*" search on ebay, there are many sizes.
The Toyota FJ40 and Land Rover varieties look to be rather thin when folded UP.

Not april fools; but I am rebuilding a 67 109 rover and probably could use the seats if I had to.
