it seems the only way to adjust the idle is with the "thumbwheel"throttle control under the hood. Ive set this at the dock for about 1000 rpm wich was ok. We idle out of the canal, have fun all day, running 4000 rpm with no problem, but the idle goes up to about 2500 by the end of the day. I havent found any type of "idle screw" other than the thumbwheel. Am I missing something??

the top screw in the picture is the idle speed screw(it is suppose to have rubber stopper on the end. moving the thumb wheel you thru your link and sinc out, the timing is faster than the carbs. you now need to redo your link n sinc. there is also suppose to be a lock nut on the bolt with the thumbscrew.
