Hi Guys, I have a mid 70's 50hp Murcury outboard and have no experience with them, I need some advice! Sorry if this has been answered before I haven't had time to search thru all of the forums. When the motor is running I get two streams of presurized water leaking out from the lower leg joint? I get water out of the pee hole ok but not a of pressure and it seems to get quite hot to touch, is this normal,I may need to chech the thermostat? Any way I took the lower leg of and hooked a hose up to the water uptake pipe and I noticed that along with water coming out of the pee hole and exhaust, I also have water coming out from around the outside of the exhaust, is this normal? From what I can make out this should not be happening because there is no where for this water to go exept out thru the leg joint, or do I have another issue ?
