I am currently reconditioning a 14' gamefisher and found the plywood core is badly rotten and I have removed all of the old wood and wonder what I should replace it with to regain its original strengh to support the 35hp honda that was mounted on the back. Also sould I treat the aluminum inner sides.

2 layers of 3/4 exterior plywood, glued together, then 3 coats of oil base paint, rustoleum is good. then install it.
