S is for solenoid. Connect the small yellow wire.

A is for accessory that is purple.

Grey is tach signal

Black is ground, usually connected to oner of th M terminals

Orange may be the ignition killer on your motor. Check it out, and if so , connect to the other M terminal

I am not sure what C is. Check the switch with an ohmmeter to see what it connects when it is turned to start and run. You need a terminal for the red wire (unfused +12VDC).

BTW these are guesses since you haven't provided year or model.

I bought a 2007 Mercury 90 H/P 4 stroke motor. I had a 1998 150 H/P Mercury previous. Is the wiring harness and such the same. I have a new harness aswell but no diagram for the wires. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Trying to get a last day in on the water. Thanks again!
