I removed the magneto from my 60 merc 300 thinking it had a bad coil due to no spark...I found the kill wire conection looked like it was grounding out so I removed it and spayed some good ole nut buster on the rotor and gave it a spin.......yeeouch,,,,,,the coil is fine..Now to replace the frayed wire put in back together and check it again, this time with a spark plug.

I prefer the MIL assistant, they jump higher and rarely come back to the shop.
