Re: Towing tubes an ext...???

For an outboard you only have a few choices 1. cheapest & easiest would be a tow bridal, hooks on the transom hooks and is basically a cable with a floating pully that the rope attaches to about 15 - 20 bucks at any boat store. easy to attach works well only drawback is that they tend to sit a bit low in the water especially for tubes the rope likes to drag through the water. 2. a deck mounted pylon for an outboard $250.00 and up they work well but do take up space and I don't know if they are rated for a tube. 3. have a tower installed $600.00 and up again some are not rated to pull a tube. I would try the tow bridal and see if it works for you then decide from there on what to do. Good luck.
