I have a 2006 185 and have been having a problem with the trim pump leaking, it seems that the "NEW" quick release ends are a problem, and was wondering if this was an isolated problem or if more owners are having same problem.
Not sure what you mean by quick release ends? On the hoses?
I havent had a really good look at my 07 pump but from what I can see it looks like the same pump on my 93 BAYLINER Cruiser.
Your boat is still under warrenty so Id go back to BAYLINER and have them repair it under warrenty....2 years on the engine and drive, that includes the trim pump.
The only trim leak I know of is on my crusiers trim tabs. the hoses leak where they enter the cyliners and seem to be some kind of quick release connector. Im told that the entire trim ram would be replaced and not fixed so as long as I dont run them too hard when there trimed down all the way Im ok.
