Recently purchased a '91 205 four winns sundowner with a 351 OMC Cobra. Runs and starts excellent, but when I engage reverse gear it always stalls out. The previous owner said last year he took it to a mechanic for the issue and he said the linkage was gummed up. Mechanic supposedly de-gummed the linkage and "fixed" the issue. I have been reading around was wondering if it could possibly be two other issues like the "overkill modulator" or "reverse module" or something of that sort??? Also where on the boat would this be located? Thanks
