I've got a Bayliner fiberglass boat and the floor has seem some water damage. I have remove alot of the rotten wood. Some of the remaining wood it wet but not yet rotten. Should I remove all the wood or can I install a new floor on top of the existing floor. I know this will cause an increase in the weight of the boat. I also need some reccomendations on what type of Fiberglass and resin to use on top of my new floor. One more thing. The foam that fills the cavitied in the boat has absorbed some water due to the floor damage. Will this dry itself out or do I need to leave it exposed so that it can air out? Thanks to anyone that can answer any of these questions.
