Is there any information in the public domain on the Clinton Outboards?

I have the Wards Sea King 7hp by Clinton. I can't find any information on it other than the contact numbers for Clinton.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Clinton Information.

Are you looking for history or tech info?Tech info is easy and is in any number of aftermarket ser. manuals. If you don't want to buy try the library.
I have 5 or 6 ser.manuals that cover many brands less than 30 hp.,3 or 4 that cover 30 hp and above. My manuals cover Clinton 57-80.

Re: Clinton Information.

I've got a 1971 7.0hp Clinton.

Would you care to suggest a service manual?

If the same manual would cover Eska, that would be great.

Thanks in advance...

Re: Clinton Information.

I have an Intertec service manual 11th edition ,1989, volume 1 covering motors below 30hp.Covers Eska and Clinton as well as many others. After market manuals do occasionally have weak points but serve pretty well.
Especially a motor as simple as the Clinton.
You could watch ebay for manuals that where I got mine.about $15 plus shipping. You might find one at the library. Both my intertecs are retired Library books.I think most any manual for motors below 30 hp would work for you.
