I heard the news piece on the radio today. I don't think she was trying to justify what he did as much as she was just saying that it wasn't a situation of a jealous husband killing the wife for some perceived slight, potential breakup, etc.

No mention of what "chronic illness"... could have been nothing more than a mild case of arthritis. Smells fishy to me. Besides, why would he shoot her and not her shoot herself? Definately more to that story.

That is a very sad event. It was desperation that drove them to this act. They must have felt very much left to their own devices.

It makes no difference on WHY it happens or WHO they were related to..... the end result is the same. It was a murder suicide in any book and there are NO valid reasons for that.

The person who commited the murder did not care about the feelings of others or themselves...... there is NO justification.

If it was any other couple (not related to any person in the public eye) it would have passed basically un-noticed.

It happened.....move on.
