Default Mercury 35 hp leaking water from spark plug

i have a 35hp mercury outboard with serial #A183947. I had cooling issue and replaced the impeller. Everything started and sounded good but noticed water coming out around the spark plug. Does this sound like a simple gasket replacement or is my engine cracked? Also, does anyone know of any good websites to find parts? My motor is two stroke.

Then it got hot it burned the waterjacket gasket out, when changing it use care not to snap off any of the bolts. I can't find the gasket listed seperatly on this website so heres a link.http://www.mercruiserparts.com/Show_...ASE+AND+COVERS

thanx for the info laddies. more info is appreciated. i watched this motor and boat sit at my dads for 8 years. I cleaned the carb up last year and tuned her up. She purred all last season and the last time i went out she overheated. i caught it pretty early and feel i owe it to the engine to get her going again.

Check to see if there is a crack in the exhause tube (if there is one). I've only worked on one and that we about 4 years ago. I remember having a similar issue where the exhaust tube wasn't on that good and sprayed water all over the plugs..
