I have a 240 Sundancer that gives me a message and an audible alarm every time I go on plane. The message reads "trim fault". I can't find anything about this message in my owners manual. Does anyone know what this indicates? The boat seems to perform fine.

I am wondering the same thing.
I have heard that it is a faulty trim switch but I am not sure. Maybe post something in the Mercruiser section of the forum??
