Do the battey cables run behind the Plenum tube or in front.? I see where the plenum tube is marked + / - They do not seem to fit correct on either side?

they run on the outside.
but if your not using the offset end cables that were shipped with the engine they wont ever fit correctly.

That explains why they do not fit. great another expensive Yamaha part.

can I just crimp offset ends on the cables
