I just took delivery of my 2003 F225 have a Q about the fuel line .

There is a small length of fuel hose connected to the fuel filter about two feet long and 1/4" in size. Should that line get run though the flex hose into my transom them stepped up to 3/8 at the fuel bulb?

That is how it was on my 225 2 stroke?

it should be an 8mm, roughly 5/16ths line.
try not to splice it in the rigging tube, splices in the tube are bad.

Thanks, yes the splice is going to be inside the transom where the fuel bulb is,.

P.s My first 4 stroke.
Any thing I should be checking other than the normal preseason checks?
